Our local YMCA is awarding winning, including the Chamber of Commerce of Harrison County Healthy Workplace Business Award and the Chamber of Commerce of Harrison County Chairman’s Award for Community Service. Roger Corley is the CEO of the YMCA and when he was asked what he enjoys most about doing business here: “I’ve always heard Southern Indiana is God’s country and I have seen this to be true. Hard working and dedicated individuals helping others so all can be as successful as they can be. The helping hand the Y received from over 190 donors and 280 volunteers is why the Y continues to thrive. Thanks to all who participate in the Y, For a Better Us!” Corley said the nicest thing a member has ever said about the Y “WOW, I never knew the Y does so much and I like coming because everyone is so friendly and nice.”
