Corydon Statepark Construction
Contracted by the Town of Corydon, Hunger Skateparks tackled the redevelopment of the former Gerdon Auto Property by designing a 8,000 square foot skatepark that features a multi – pocketed bowl and a long, tiered flow/street section. The design was inspired by the over 150 responses and comments in the community survey, public input meetings, and by the local skatepark advocates leading the charge who currently have to travel to the Louisville area to skate. The skatepark site straddles the Little Indian Creek and expands the adjacent public park that includes a new pedestrian bridge, soft scape interactive playground, a recently restored WPA community building and a walking loop trail.
