Why Join the Chamber?
It’s a great question and an important one when there is no shortage of items eating away at your bottom line. There are lots of reasons to join, but we feel the three reasons below, no matter the size of your business, are key benefits our members receive when they join the Chamber of Commerce of Harrison County.
Grow Your Business
Members are the only businesses recommended when the Chamber is asked for referrals.
The Chamber offers assistance and marketing support with activities that promote businesses such as Ribbon Cuttings, Grand Openings, or Open Houses.
Membership Listings are added to the website at no charge and enhancements are available. Available promotion opportunities include website sponsorship and electronic newsletter membership listings.
One set of mailing labels is provided to any member, upon request, at no charge. Limit one request per member per year. Additional mailing labels may be purchased for $50 per set after the initial complimentary set.
Provided by the Chamber to verify where a good or product is produced, used for international trade.
The Chamber partners with the Harrison County Economic Development Corporation to address economic development issues that impact our community.

Get Involved
Hosting a Business After Hours is a great way to display your facility, goods, and services. Attending a Business After Hours is a great way to network with your fellow Chamber members.
This annual event provides members an opportunity to network in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. You can choose to participate in the all-inclusive golf scramble, dinner or both.
The Chairman’s Award promotes community service by annually recognizing a Harrison County resident or organization for outstanding community service.
The Chamber’s Board of Directors and staff represent Chamber members on key community and business development organizations throughout Harrison County.
Your voice is heard! The Chamber maintains constant communication with local, state, and national government representatives, addressing issues that could have an impact on the business community, as well as the community at large.
The Chamber partners with the Harrison County Economic Development Corporation to address economic development issues that impact our community.
Stay Up To Date
The Chamber conducts seminars and educational programs on a variety of business topics.
The annual meeting provides an opportunity for the Chamber to update the membership on the programs and activities of the prior year.
The Chamber works closely with the Southeast Indiana Small Business Development Center to provide free initial counseling for your business at the Chamber office. Advanced business consulting services and training are also available and may require a nominal fee for participation.
Produced annually in partnership with O’Bannon Publishing Co., Inc, this high quality full color magazine showcases what Harrison County has to offer. A Membership Directory and Buyer’s Guide are included in the magazine. All members have the option to purchase advertising space in this publication with complimentary membership listings.
